Installation is a simple plug-and-play process that takes seconds. No tools or wiring modifications required.
- Locate the turn signal indicator housing on your Ford F-150
- Access the bulb socket (refer to your owner's manual for the access method on your year/trim)
- Pull out the existing T10 incandescent bulb
- Insert the ORACLE SMD bulb - it seats in the same socket with no modification
- Install a load equalizer inline with the bulb socket to prevent hyper-flash
- Test the turn signal function before reassembling
- Repeat for the opposite side using the second bulb in the pair
Load Equalizer Required: Turn signal circuits detect bulb resistance. SMD LEDs draw significantly less current than halogens, which triggers hyper-flash without a load equalizer. Install one per bulb socket.
